100% solid Japanese spindle (Euonymus japonicus) wood wand with a painted finish. It was an attempt at kurbits decoration, but I definitely need more practice!
Length: Ca 303 mm or 11 7/8″
Diameter: ~6-12 mm
Wood Origin Location: Wollaton, Nottingham (UK)
Harvest Method: Garden prunings
Cut, stripped, carved/shaped, dried, sanded, painted, sanded some more, burned, sanded a bit again and finished off with a coating of clear mineral oil to protect the wood.
Any other colour variations are due to the wood itself.
